Counselor

It has been my honor to serve the Barksdale community as the school counselor.  I am passionate about advocating for each student while supporting them to be successful both academically and socially.

I am a proud graduate of the Plano Independent School District. I attended Hughston Elementary, Carpenter Middle School, Clark High School and Plano Senior High School.  Prior to having children, I taught in the Richardson ISD for five years working with children with learning disabilities. After being away from teaching to stay home with my own kids, I came back to Plano ISD in 2005. I have taught second grade, ESL, third grade bilingual and special education. 

The biggest joy in my life is my family.
