Hello, Barksdale families! I am excited to serve as the ESL Coach and Interventionist, partnering with teachers and families to support our Emergent Bilingual students and help every learner thrive. With experience teaching multiple grade levels, I enjoy collaborating with educators, building strong relationships with students and families, and creating engaging learning opportunities. I look forward to another wonderful year of learning and growing together! 

ESL instruction shall utilize the TEKS to develop English language skills. The ESL staff will serve as a member of a resource team that will facilitate second language approaches. This collaboration will ensure that students are challenged to perform at a level commensurate with their linguistic proficiency and academic potential in all required subjects.
